Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Stackr. They are written to be read by a human, not just a lawyer. Please take a few minutes to go through them.

By accessing or using Stackr at usestackr.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Stackr. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

Stackr is a personal subscription tracking and management tool. It allows you to log and organise your subscriptions, track spending across currencies and billing cycles, receive renewal reminders, manage shared or family plan subscriptions, and view spending stats and category breakdowns.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

Stackr uses Google OAuth for authentication. By signing in, you authorise us to receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.

You agree not to use Stackr to violate any applicable law or regulation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems, scrape or extract data using automated tools, reverse engineer or decompile Stackr, use the Service for any commercial purpose without written permission, upload malicious code or harmful content, or impersonate any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

All subscription data, notes, and settings you enter into Stackr (“Your Content”) remain yours. You grant Stackr a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process Your Content solely to deliver the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We do not use your subscription data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the Service for your benefit.

Do not enter sensitive personal information such as passwords, card numbers, or banking credentials into Stackr — it is not designed for that purpose.

Stackr is currently free for all users — there are no charges, no paywalls, and no payment required at this time. A Pro tier is planned for a future release. If and when Pro launches, its terms, pricing, and billing details will be communicated to users in advance. Nothing described below as "planned" is currently active.

Pro billing, if and when it launches, will be handled through Stripe or a comparable payment processor. We will not store your payment card details. Planned refund terms (subject to confirmation before launch): 7-day refunds on monthly plans; lifetime plans non-refundable after 14 days. Specific billing terms will be confirmed and published before Pro becomes available. Email support@usestackr.com with questions.

Stackr may display affiliate or referral links for subscription services such as Spotify, LinkedIn, NordVPN, Adobe, and others. If you click an affiliate link and subscribe to or purchase a third-party service through Stackr, Stackr may receive a commission or referral fee from that third party. This commission is paid by the third party — it does not increase the price you pay.

Affiliate links are clearly associated with the relevant service. We do not manipulate pricing information, renewal data, or recommendations to favour affiliate conversions. We do not share your personal data with third-party services for advertising or tracking purposes.

Stackr uses aggregated, anonymized data — data from which all personally identifying information has been removed — to understand how users interact with the platform, identify popular subscription categories, and improve the service.

In the future, Stackr may license aggregated, anonymized data to third parties, such as market research firms or subscription industry partners. Any data shared in this way will not identify you personally and will not include your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information.

We will update our Privacy Policy and notify you before any data licensing arrangement begins.

Stackr, including its name, logo, design, code, and all original content, is the intellectual property of Stackr and its founder. Nothing in these Terms transfers any IP rights to you.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of Stackr's interface or branding without written permission.

Stackr does not warrant that renewal dates or prices displayed are accurate, that notifications will be delivered without delay, that the Service will be available at all times, or that currency conversion rates are accurate for financial decision-making.

Stackr is a personal organisation tool. Always verify subscription renewal dates and charges directly with your service providers.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stackr and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Stackr in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

You may stop using Stackr and delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our systems within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. In the case of Service discontinuation, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and offer a pro-rata refund on any active Pro subscriptions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Singaporean users: nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Singapore's Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act or the PDPA.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before changes take effect.

Continued use of Stackr after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
